Kate the actress arrival from S.Africa

 


Catherine Kamau aka Kate Actress was treated to

a surprise reception at JKIA after her trip to

South Africa.

Kate, who was in Johannesburg for the

Bridgerton Season two screening termed her rise

to the international stage as something she has

worked for.

"I need to stop playing small, I deserve these

things. I've worked for them, I've worked for the

recognition," an excited and emotional Kate said

at the airport as her family and friends

welcomed her back from her trip to South Africa.

The award-winning actress added that she felt

she had worked for this moment her whole life

and it is what she wanted to achieve in life. To

her it made her feel honored and humbled.

Kate added that her experience in South Africa

was not only humbling but mind-blowing and

life-changing as well.Kate acknowledged that in as much as her acting

was taking center stage she knows she had taken

a long hiatus from her music career but she

promised her fans to remain calm, things were in

the kitchen cooking.

"I think it's about time, I'm going to do

everything. Fuse the two, acting and music you

can't separate the two. I'll give you something...

maybe soon, very soon."

The actress noted that growth takes time, and she

truly felt that they haven't even scratched the

surface of the Kenyan industry.

She went on to thank her Nigerian counterparts

for welcoming her and making her feel like she

belongs, as being far from home can be hectic

especially when you don't either have familiar

faces around you or people who can relate to

you.
